The saying in politics; “No Permanent Friend, No Permanent Enemy,
But Permanent Interest” played itself out recently as two known political foes,
Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State and his predecessor, Prince Olagunsoye
Oyinlola, turned friends as they embraced themselves in a rare show of camaraderie, in the full public glare, during
the burial of the wife of the Chairman of Mic Com Golf, Chief Mrs Ponle in Ada,
Osun state on 22nd December,2012. The duo has always through their
proxies, sometimes personally, engaged themselves in public verbal warfare
regarding the leadership of the state.However,let’s see how far this will go.
