5 Celebs Who Remarried Their Exes

Kobe and Vanessa Bryant aren't the only couple who have rekindled a previously lit flame! Recently news came in of how former world’s number one golfer Tiger woods is making efforts to win her ex-wife Elin back. It was reported that Elin is considering a come back but not without an offer of $200 million from Woods and a $350 million dollar anti-cheating bond. While we wait to see how that works out, some celebrities have succeeded in theirs.
Keeping love alive in any relationships can be tough. Add to that reality TV shows, concert tours, red carpet movie premieres, and the other paparazzi-driven pressures of being a Hollywood A-lister and it gets even tougher. But as we've seen before: Hollywood relationships don't always last ... and neither do break-ups!
Just this weekend, Lakers all-star Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa announced their decision to get back together, two years after she filed for divorce. "I am happy to say that Vanessa and I are moving on with our lives together as a family," Bryant wrote on his Facebook page. "When the show ends and the music stops, the journey is made beautiful by having that someone to share it with. Thank you all for your support and prayers!"
We're thinking, if Kobe Bryant and his wife can rekindle their romance, maybe their example (and the example set by these other celebrity couples) proves that second time's the charm!

Kobe and Vanessa Bryant

Who wouldn’t be proud of having an all-star athlete for a husband? Kobe Bryant was married to his high school sweetheart Vanessa for 10 years and had two adorable daughters (Natalia, 9, and Gianna, 6) along the way. But it was his adulterous behavior off-court, including an accusation of sexual assault, that had Vanessa file for divorce in 2011, citing "irreconcilable differences" between them. So we were more than surprised to hear their announcement that they were calling off the divorce to give their marriage a second chance! And who says high school sweethearts don't last?

NeNe and Gregg Leakes

For NeNe Leakes of Real Housewives of Atlanta, life is literally a reality TV show. And apparently, the drama that comes with celebrity life was getting to be too much for NeNe and Gregg, her husband of 15 years who said that "fame got to her head." The pair finalized their divorce back in April of last year. However, just a few days into the new year, NeNe spilled the beans to late night talk show host Jimmy Fallon that her ex-husband had asked her to remarry him on New Year's Eve... and she said yes! Here’s to starting off the new year right!

Pink and Carey Hart

If you've ever seen her music video "So What?" you'll know it hasn’t always been all hearts and roses for pop rockstar Pink and her hubby Carey Hart. The two tattooed lovebirds got married back in 2006, but cheating rumours didn't help their on-again, off-again relationship and they split in 2008. The couple was in the middle of signing the paperwork on their divorce when they had a change of heart. Today they're still together and happy parents to baby daughter, Willow Sage. "We still have our moments, but that's normal," she said about their marriage. 'We both come from families affected by divorce, so we have vowed to do things differently."

Liz Taylor and Richard Burton

Liz Taylor was never lucky in love - she was walked down the aisle eight times over the course of her lifetime, but two of those times she said "I do" to Richard Burton. They met on the set of “Cleopatra” and fell deeply in love on and off the big screen. Both of them were married to other people at the time and they were the scandal of Hollywood (think: the Brangelina of the sixties). They tied the knot in 1964, but after a rocky marriage, they broke it off in 1974. Just 16 months after their divorce, the two remarried, and even though they divorced a year or so later, they remained lifetime loves. Burton penned love letters to his former flame for years up until he died.

Larry King and Shawn Southwick

Like the iconic Liz Taylor's famous marital missteps, the 76-year-old CNN legend Larry King married over and over again (eight times, to seven different women, to be exact). We thought his marriage to the seventh Mrs. Larry King, Shawn Southwick, would stick until they both filed for divorce in 2010. But when Southwick overdosed in an apparent suicide attempt, King left late night TV for good to have "more time for my wife and I to get to the kids' little league games." They officially withdrew their divorce petitions and gave their 12-year marriage another chance.
